The Role
Due to continued growth in our Auckland branch, we are seeking a trade qualified HVAC Service Technician with appropriate licences to maintain and manage commercial properties.
Your duties will involve the maintaining and servicing of various HVAC plant and equipment at various locations for our customers.
Essential to this role is a good mechanical understanding and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Suitable applicants need to have experience in the service, repair and maintenance of a wide variety of refrigeration equipment.
Key Competencies
A strong knowledge of building mechanical services
Ability to work unsupervised in a team environment
Demonstrate fault finding abilities and present solutions
Reliable, self-motivated and well presented
Clear verbal and written communication skills
Word processing and spreadsheet application skills
Able to liaise with clients on the condition of their plant
Willing to undergo a police check
Available to work some overtime
Strong commitment to safe work practices is essential
The successful applicant will need at least a NZQA L4 trade qualification in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, a current EST, well developed communication skills and the ability to work unsupervised to a high standard is essential.
Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
