Our Story

At Optimum Air, our goal is to lead the way in integrated building services across New Zealand, combining HVAC&R, building automation, and electrical systems to create smart buildings that are not only compliant with regulations but also optimised for energy and resource efficiency. We strive to ensure that our buildings are comfortable, functional, and tailored to support our clients in achieving their sustainability and operational goals. Founded by Airmaster, Australia’s leading HVAC integrated building services company, we leverage their extensive industry experience and award-winning services and solutions.

 

Established in 1988 in Melbourne, Airmaster has grown to a network of 17 branches across Australia and New Zealand. Optimum Air, as Airmaster’s first international branch, integrates advanced methodologies to serve the New Zealand market with a strong focus on sustainability and energy efficiency. We embrace Airmaster’s legacy, and our holistic approach ensures our solutions meet regulatory requirements and promote sustainability and operational excellence.

 

 

Optimum Air includes two specialised controls divisions: as Tridium System Integrators and ControlCo Automation, delivering Schneider Electric's range of solutions. With over 32 years of experience, ControlCo Automation integrates BMS and IoT solutions, offering comprehensive, energy-efficient services. As a BMS Master Partner for Schneider Electric and an accredited EcoXpert, ControlCo Automation leads in smart building technology.

Our team, fully trained and collaborating with technology partners, enhances building services operations and efficiency.The Optimum Air Board includes both New Zealand and Australian-based members, blending local expertise with international experience to ensure tailored strategies and global best practices.
