A subsidiary company of leading Australian HVAC&R company Airmaster, Optimum Air moved into their Mount Wellington offices in December 2018, and have been steadily growing ever since, securing key contracts at some well-known New Zealand facilities.

Optimum Air opened its doors to invited guests, where specialists were on hand to discuss key offerings and showcase the latest trends and technologies that Optimum Air are offering in the New Zealand market.

Optimum Air and Airmaster CEO Noel Courtney along with Optimum Air Regional Manager Scott Finn led proceedings, and they were joined by Daikin Industries Ltd Head of Global Operations Yoshihiro Mineno and Daikin Australia Managing Director Shoji Uehara.

During his opening address, Courtney expressed excitement by the opportunities in the New Zealand market both for Optimum Air and for its customers.

“New Zealand represents a natural fit for us in terms of expansion. We are committed to providing new, innovative solutions to the market as well as support local communities. Our team is fast growing and we are looking forward to employing more talented New Zealanders as our growth continues,” he said.

The creation of Optimum Air was over 14 months in the making, with key senior Airmaster staff from across Australia involved throughout the process. “Our goal for Optimum Air is to not only create a world-class New Zealand HVAC&R technical and mechanical solutions company, but to deliver these solutions through the latest technologies that allow us to maximise both collaboration and innovative thinking alongside our customers.”

One of the highlights of the night was a business card prize draw, with the winner taking home an all expenses paid trip for two with hospitality to the 2019 Melbourne Cup Carnival. The recipient of this prize was Alan Meng from HVAC Depot and we look forward to welcoming Alan to Melbourne in November.

Optimum Air would like to thank all of those that attended the evening and we hope that you learnt more about our business and what we have planned for an exciting future.
