Amidst the picturesque Viaduct Harbour in Auckland, the Optimum Air team recently gathered alongside partners, senior management, and friends to celebrate their 5-year milestone in the business.
Hosted by Scott Finn, General Manager for Optimum Air, the event provided a valuable opportunity for team members to connect and reflect on their achievements, whilst also acknowledging the rich history of Airmaster and Daikin, who paved the way for Optimum Air’s growth in the New Zealand market.
A subsidiary of Airmaster, Optimum Air made its debut in New Zealand in 2018, with a vision to deliver cutting-edge solutions to the New Zealand market - using the latest technologies to foster collaboration and innovative thinking alongside their clients.
“We’re incredibly proud of the strides we’ve made over the past five years, now having reached a point where we can give back to the wider Airmaster business. It’s important that we take the time to celebrate not only our own wins, but also the rich history of Airmaster and Daikin that has positively positioned us for this success,” said Scott.
“Reflecting on the past five years, we’ve built a strong team, a feat that would not have been possible without the dedication of each team member, and the support from their friends and family”, he continued.
With many of these loved ones in attendance at the evening’s celebrations, Optimum Air’s commitment to prioritising work-life balance and putting people first was evident. Following an opening address by Noel Courtney, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Airmaster, the evening’s focus centered around the celebration of Optimum Air’s longest serving team members, many of whom made the transition from the SENZ business in 2020, and whose steadfast dedication has been instrumental to the success of the wider business.
"When we acquired the Schneider Electric EcoStruxure Building business in 2020, we also became custodians of the rich history built up over 25 years of operation in New Zealand.
This includes taking the time to celebrate the many long serving, loyal team members who joined us from Schneider, and are now celebrating 10, 15 and 20 years of service” stated Noel.
Thank you to all who attended the event - here’s to the next 5 years and beyond!
